I’ve spent my weekend so far working on a medium security, chicken and rabbit holding pen. If anyone says they want to get backyard chickens for the cheap, fresh eggs… kick them! Even in a relatively chicken-predator free area like a neighborhood in Eagle, Idaho, they still require tons of work and money to sustain them. I suppose if we didn’t care that they have space to roam we wouldn’t have these issues…

The chickens sure got a buffet of worms and other bugs that have been unearthed during this transformation!
