With 19 years in the carpet, rug, and upholstery cleaning industry, I offer classes in the technical aspects of carpet, rug, and upholstery cleaning. As a Master Certified Rug Cleaner, Certified Master Textile Cleaner, and an IICRC Instructor, I have the tools you need to elevate your cleaning business to the next level!
Certification Classes
As part of the Bridgepoint family, I offer IICRC Carpet Cleaning Technician Certifications for both individuals and companies. I hold classes locally in Boise, ID, USA and travel worldwide to offer these certifications!
The Carpet Cleaning Technician certification is a pre-requisite to many of the IICRC’s more advanced certificates, opening the door to many of the trainings that can significantly improve your service and income potential. In this class students will learn fiber identification, carpet and rug construction, cleaning theory and chemistry, safety, and stain removal techniques. They will be exposed to basic color theory, regulations and safety measures, and taught how to approach customers and problems that may arise before, during, and after the clean. This is a hands-on, interactive class, where learning is heartily encouraged!
Online courses are now available, and will be held in conjunction with Local, In-person classes. Cost is the same, and we will do our best to show the practical side of carpet cleaning.
The IICRC Certifications are $300 per person for the in-person class (manual and lunch for the 2 days provided) plus $80 for the exam. Local (Boise, ID; Idaho Falls, ID) courses are taught in a comfortable classroom setting (no cold/hot smelly warehouses) with ample space and conveniences. Please note- I do not sell any products or equipment. I am a part of the Bridgepoint School system, but do not endorse any one distributor’s products over another. The chemistry sections will be focused on general chemicals, without preference for brand names.

IICRC Carpet Cleaning Technician Certification
This intensive, 2-day certification class is designed to teach you principles, techniques, and practices to boost your carpet cleaning productivity. A pre-requisite to many other IICRC certifications, we will discuss carpet manufacturing, cleaning chemistry, cleaning methods, job safety and regulations, and customer interactions. We will practice using different equipment and procedures, teaching you to be a true professional.
Closed (for your company only) classes are available as well.
